As a kid, I did not like this as a gimmick. I rubbed the bloody symbol until it peeled off on one side, and it still wouldn’t change. I set it under my mum’s hair dryer. Still nothing. This could be why it’s so buggered now. Or maybe it’s that it was a gimmick that never particularly worked in the first place.
